Terri completed her BFA (with distinction) at the University of Regina in 2007. While in school, she focused on painting, printmaking and drawing. Since then, Terri has moved from an abstract painting practice in oils and watercolours to a drawing practice that explores her interest in quirky 'collections.' This includes her ever-increasing collection of two-dimensional monsters, knick-knacks and doo-dads.
Terri’s current work is inspired by conflicting themes relating to childhood and motherhood: a type of regretful nostalgia versus wonder, exploration, playfulness and a sense of the ridiculous.
Terri currently resides with her family in Saskatoon, SK and will soon be moving to Calgary to attend the Alberta College of Art and Design.
